Stories Made Whole is a healing and restoration space offering trauma-informed care, coaching, webinars, and faith-centered support for those ready to heal and grow.
Healing doesn’t erase the past, it gently changes how the story lives inside you.
Life leaves marks, through childhood wounds, grief, burnout, and painful relationships. You may not be able to change what happened, but you can reclaim your story and reconnect with hope.
My Story
I didn’t begin this work from theory, I began it from lived experience.
I grew up carrying childhood trauma, abuse, and neglect that shaped how I saw myself and the world. As a teenager, I became a mom, still trying to heal while learning how to parent.
Along the way, I walked through the painful loss of my second child, and later entered a marriage I hoped would be safe and lasting. When that marriage broke, divorce came with deep shame, confusion, and judgment, both internally and from others.
Those seasons led me into depression, emotional exhaustion, and unhealthy coping, including alcohol and smoking — while still trying to function and mother my children single handedly.
By God’s grace, healing began slowly. Over time, the Lord restored my mind, strengthened my faith, and surrounded me with help, Trauma Healing, learning, and community.
Today, I am remarried, navigating the beauty and challenges of a blended family, while also shepherding a congregation — not as someone “who has it all together,” but as someone still learning, healing, and growing.
These experiences, together with my training, shape how I walk with others: with gentleness, dignity, and deep compassion.
I believe God doesn’t erase stories — He redeems them and uses them for His glory.
That is the heart behind MadeWhole.
Hi, I’m Annie Rukenya.
I’m an ordained reverend, certified trauma healer, chaplain, and counselor with training in mediation and trauma-informed care.
I walk alongside teens, adults, couples, and families as they process pain, heal from trauma, and rediscover their God-given identity at a pace that feels safe.
My heart is to offer a gentle, faith-centered space where you feel seen, supported, and strengthened.
Healing doesn’t erase your past — it helps you live free beyond it.
